Vincenzo Montella is no longer the coach of Milan. The Rossoneri company sacked him on Monday morning, entrusting the team to Rino Gattuso, until yesterday at the helm of the AC Milan Spring.
The communication came via a tweet:

The midweek goal in the Europa League against Austria Vienna, overwhelmed 5-1, was not enough for Montella. On Sunday, Milan once again missed the opportunity to give continuity to the game and the results, making themselves stop for 0-0 at home from Turin. It's even been since 20 September that the Rossoneri haven't scored or won at the San Siro.
Beyond the summer market, which many commentators have judged inadequate with respect to the club's declared Champions League ambitions, Montella is also suffering from an evident indecision in the technical-tactical management of the squad. In 23 official matches played this year, Milan took the field with 23 different formations.
At this point, therefore, the Gattuso era begins at Milanello, who will make his debut on Sunday in the match in Benevento scheduled for 12.30.
