Milan, the Elliott fund aims at Antonio Conte

For now only a rumor, who knows tomorrow… On the day in which Gattuso lends his face to the season ticket campaign, Milan seems to be thinking of Antonio Conte. More than anything else, the idea would be Elliott's, tempted by a real technical revolution as soon as the Board has officially swept away what remains of Yonghong Li and his troops. Difficult to make predictions, after all the situation that reigns in the Rossoneri club is so unusual that it cannot lend itself to any type of logical reasoning, either from a corporate or a technical point of view.

Normality would like the coach and managers to work calmly a month before the start of the championship, however at Milan everything is in flux and so it is impossible to establish with certainty whether Elliott will enter slowly or will do so with a straight leg. The two currents of thought are exactly these: one that would see continuity with the past (Fassone, Mirabelli and Gattuso confirmed), another that pushes for a total revolution and therefore a new coach (Conte in fact) but also Leonardo technical director, perhaps with Giuntoli or Pradè to support it on the market.

We will know more on Saturday, in any case the interest in Conte finds confirmation in those sources which, in very recent times, have revealed things that seemed truly impossible and which have instead become reality (CR7 docet). In the meantime, in this climate of total uncertainty, Mirabelli tries to work on the transfer market in an attempt to give Gattuso a team that is at least competitive.

The games will officially start on Thursday, after the Tas of Lausanne has expressed its opinion on the club's European future, however the maneuvers have already begun some time ago and they see Milan in the hunt for an international-level striker. The well-known Morata and Immobile were also joined by Higuain, who already two months ago proposed himself in Via Aldo Rossi through his brother-prosecutor: then Mirabelli said no, but today things could go differently.

Pipita's future, to tell the truth, seems more in England, where Sarri would welcome him with open arms but Milan, very close to selling Kalinic to Atletico Madrid (18 million loan with obligation to buy), still remains a possibility. Obviously, everything will be subject to the transfers and not only to that of the Croatian: Suso (38 million clause expired, now the price must be negotiated with the club) and Bonucci (very interested PSG) the main suspects. Milan on the cover, therefore, but only because they left later than the others, who in the meantime are already in full swing.

Juve, after the CR7 hangover, is waiting to receive Chelsea's offer for Higuain and Rugani and perhaps also that of PSG for Alex Sandro, after which he will continue his pharaonic transfer campaign. The goals are Pogba and a central defender (after Godin Gimenez of Atletico Madrid also appears) while the Marcelo deal, at the moment, seems impossible to achieve due to the veto of Florentino Perez, currently engaged in negotiations with Chelsea to bring to Madrid Hazard (the English press speaks of 226 million).

Frantic maneuvers also at Inter where Vrsaljko's yes has arrived: the Croatian wants to dress the Nerazzurri, now we need to find an agreement with Atletico, so far rather cold in the face of the loan deal with the right to buy proposed by Ausilio. Di Maria's dream is also being examined but only if Joao Mario, requested by the English side of Wolverhampton, should leave first: Spalletti would thus have a dream attack and Serie A would gain another top player.

We will hardly find Alisson again (Roma and Liverpool are one step away from closing the deal for 70-75 million) but perhaps Napoli will give us something, at least hearing the promises of De Laurentiis, who confirmed that a blow will come. In short, the market is still hot, indeed very hot, and he promises to offer us a month of fireworks.
