Milan: Allegri out and Tassotti in, waiting for Seedorf

The defeat against Sassuolo, and an embarrassing defense, were fatal for the coach from Livorno, sacked this morning – The team has been provisionally entrusted to Mauro Tassotti: Pippo Inzaghi and Seedorf in the window.

Milan: Allegri out and Tassotti in, waiting for Seedorf

The eternal second for once becomes first. Domenico Berardi's four goals were the nails in the Milan coffin of Massimiliano Allegri, sacked without too many compliments. In his place Mauro Tassotti will sit on the bench who, with that face a bit like that, as a rough and a little shy right-back, after more than ten more glorious years as assistant coach of Milan (under Ancelotti, above all, and then under Allegri , passing through Leonardo's interregnum), will finally have his chance as mister of the Rossoneri.

The eternal second becomes first. Who knows for how long, however, because the provisional nature of the choice is clear, starting from the press release with which the club relieved the coach from Livorno of his post, entrusting the bench to Tassotti.

At the window there are two other old Milanese glories who have much less experience and just as much more charisma. On the one hand there is Filippo Inzaghi, who is eager – as is his nature – to become a coach even among the greats, after a year and a half among the boys.

On the other hand, there is the elected coach Clarence Seedorf, the one who, in Silvio Berlusconi's plans, will have to coach the team next year. A dawn, that of the former Dutch champion on the Milan bench, which could, however, be brought forward by a few months. Seedorf, his agent let us know, can free himself from his current team, Botafogo, without paying any penalty, but who knows if he wouldn't prefer to wait for a start from scratch, instead of having to get on a train so run down.

The only certain thing at the moment is that Allegri is no longer the coach of Milan. And also that the eternal second, for a few days, became first.
