Milan and Maldini, Inter and Dybala, Juve between De Ligt and Di Maria: all the cases that make the transfer market lively

The delay in the renewal of Maldini's contract is destroying the most tempting deals devised by Milan. Inter have not yet decided on Dybala. Juve anxious for De Ligt and Di Maria

Milan and Maldini, Inter and Dybala, Juve between De Ligt and Di Maria: all the cases that make the transfer market lively

A signature to put as soon as possible. The contract renewal of Maldini (and Massara), expiring on June 30, should have arrived some time ago, but Milan, thanks to the change of ownership, has not yet found the right balance. The consequence is that the market froze, complicating purchases that seemed to be in the pipeline and, in some cases, even making them skip permanently.

The Maldini question

It's fresh news that botman, long-time target for defence, he accepted the Newcastle court and it doesn't matter that he did it reluctantly: the Dutchman, in fact, tried to resist for weeks, in the hope that the decisive phone call would come from Milan, then, once realizing that this would not be the case, he took the Arab-English train.

The concern of the fans is still below guard level, thanks to a Scudetto that is still too fresh to be overshadowed, but it is clear that the Maldini question it is dragging on beyond what it should, complicating Pioli's technical programs not a little.

The coach champion of Italy hoped to have some new signing already for the July 4 meeting, however it is probable that will not be the case, even if the signature of the executives should be almost certain. Remains the sensation of a Milan in difficulty, especially since the rumors about the budget for the market speak of 50 million, certainly not the maximum for those who aspire to consolidate their national leadership and grow in Europe.

For Inter 4 signings, but Dybala is missing

The competition, on the other hand, does not wait, starting with Marotta's Inter, already capable of closing 4 signings such as Mkhitaryan, Asllani, Bellanova and, obviously, Lukaku. Dybala is still missing from the appeal, blocked by the overcrowding of an attack which, in addition to Big Rom, also includes Lautaro, Dzeko, Correa and Sanchez: given the non-transferability of the first (barring sensational offers), two of the remaining three will have to pack their bags, so that the Argentine can wear black and blue. However, someone begins to feed gods doubts about the success of the operation, in the light of the commissions requested by Antun (we are talking about 6 million) which would have held back Marotta, so as to hypothesize the inclusion of Milan: a not very concrete hypothesis, but still to be monitored.

However, the fact remains that Inter, after the signings, will also have to raise cash and the names are always the same: Skriniar above all (Psg offered 50 million but the Nerazzurri are asking for 80) e Dumfries (Chelsea and Manchester United on pole). However, the Slovak, once he has taken note of Inter's will, has already reached an agreement with the Parisian club, which will guarantee him a contract worth almost 8 million net per season.

Juve between De Ligt and Di Maria

The defenders have become the precious pieces of the summer, especially those of our league. They also prove it DeLigt and Koulibaly, the other big names that are talked about with greater insistence in this beginning of the market. Dutch expressed doubts about the Juve project, releasing declarations that Arrivabene and Allegri didn't like at all: the idea would be to keep him, especially after Chiellini's farewell, but if an offer of 120 million arrived (the rescission clause) things would change.

Chelsea observes interested, the black and whites do the same with Koulibaly, whose future in Naples is far from certain. It should also be said though that the Senegalese already has refused an offer from the Ladypartly out of an objective preference for foreign countries (his dream would be Barcelona), partly out of respect for the fans he is very close to.

In short, not a simple situation, just like the story of Maria, always more like a South American soap opera than a negotiation. The Argentine hasn't yet given Juve an answer, but Allegri insists on waiting: however, the operation will have to be unblocked shortly, otherwise Cherubini will turn to other objectives. Kostic is always there waiting for him, Zaniolo, on the other hand, is a separate case, given that Roma continue to value him at 60 million. The request could subside within a few weeks, perhaps with the inclusion of one or more technical counterparts (there was talk of Arthur and McKennie), also because Nicolò's contract expires in 2024 and the Giallorossi certainly cannot afford to lose him for few pennies.
