Milan: five Asians ready to buy but need a billion

There is an Asian axis formed by five billionaires ready to get their hands on Milan. This was revealed to the Chinese news agency Xinhua by the vice president of the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Fu Yixiang also giving names and surnames and revealing that they are all linked to the consortium formed by the Hong Kong billionaire, Richard Lee.

Who are the Asian entrepreneurs interested in buying Milan from the Berlusconi family? Given the names, AC Milan fans can hope for a return to the top of world football within a few years. Indeed, in the list of entrepreneurs and Asian groups interested in the Rossoneri company we find Mr. Zong, the patron of the beverage giant Wow, Wang Jianlin, the number one of Wanda Group (a company that recently acquired the advisor of Lega Serie A and FIGC Infront and 20% of Atletico Madrid), the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei, which is already a premium sponsor of AC Milan, e Alibaba, the company specializing in electronic commerce and the absolute leader in the sector in China. In addition to this poker of Chinese groups, as reported by Xinhua, there would also be a Thai group. The Chinese news agency did not specify whether the name of is behind the Thai group Bee Taechaubol, Mr B. from Bangkok, who had already shown his interest in taking over Milan in recent months and who should fly to Europe in the next few days to meet with Berlusconi. It seems that the Thai Mr. B. is rather part of a second consortium also ready to shell out a billion.

The Asian maxi-consortium led by Mr. Lee, however, would not yet be ready to put on the plate the billion euros necessary to acquire Milan. It seems that the five Asian tycoons will be able to cover only half of this figure while the remaining half will be collected through through crowdfunding, a popular shareholding with a stake that should cost around 1500 euros.
