Milan: Chinese Wang Jianlin wants 30% of the Rossoneri club

The rumors of an interest from the East for the Milan. This time it's not about the famous Mr B. Thai, the tycoon Bee Taechaubol, but again Chinese Wang Jianlin, President of Dalian Wanda.

According to the columns of Il Sole 24 Ore, the Chinese Wang Jianlin, after acquiring 20% of Atletico Madrid and announcing the purchase of the Swiss multinational Infront Sports & Media for 1,05 billion euros, would have started the negotiations for the acquisition of a minority stake in AC Milan, around 30%.

In recent weeks the group Fininvest he had hastened to reject to the sender any proposal for the acquisition of majority shares in Milan through a press release in which, however, he confirmed the interest of "various subjects" in partnerships relating to the Rossoneri club but at the same time denying the rumors of talks or decisive meetings fixed in the agenda.

But, according to what Il Sole underlines, contacts between Wang Jianlin and AC Milan have started and the discussion between the two parties would relate above all to the economic evaluation of the Rossoneri club. Figures that are very far from the one billion euros that were mentioned in recent weeks given that the Milan estimate quoted in the economic newspaper would be among the 400 and 500 million. If this were the real assessment of the Berlusconi family club, the president of Dalian Wanda could become a new shareholder for 30% by spending an amount between 120 and 150 million euros, probably through a capital increase.
