Milan, Arnault will not arrive

Cold shower for AC Milan fans who were hoping for a change of ownership with the arrival of luxury patron Bernard Arnault, number one of Lvmh who however denied any interest in both the Rossoneri club and Prada.

Milan, Arnault will not arrive

Cold shower for the Milan fans who for months have been hoping for Santa Claus to arrive in the person of Bernard Arnault, the patron of the French luxury group lvmh. Yesterday the number one of the maison instead, the Parisian has flatly denied any interest in both Milan and Prada.

"Very strange news is circulating in Italy” Arnault commented ironically, who then continues: “This story resembles a mystery. I admire Milan a lot, a formidable club, with extraordinary players, some call me to find out what's going on. It must be at least the sixth or seventh time in the past six months that I have had to deny ever speaking or having never had an operational interest in buying this club magnificent. I don't know if it will do anything to disprove it again, probably not. Maybe it will fuel other rumors and tomorrow we will read again that Arnault is really interested. I don't know if the mystery will continue, maybe it's an Italian mystery".

Milan therefore remains in the hands of the American fund Elliott who is waiting for the right moment to make a capital gain by selling the controlling package which so far has not given Elliott great economic and least of all sporting satisfaction.

Nothing to do even for Prada, which seemed to be one of the objectives of Lvmh which closed 2019 with record revenues of 53,7 billion euros (+15%) and over 7 billion in profits (+13%) thanks to the spectacular performances of Luis Vuitton and Dior.
