Milan to the German, Inter on Mertens, for Juve priority to the transfers

It will be a Bundes-Milan. On the day when Germany gets the ball rolling again (it starts at 15.30: Borussia Dortmund-Schalke the big match), the Rossoneri find themselves pro-German and not only due to their undeniable lack of football. In fact, what is being born will be a Devil in the image and likeness of Ralf Rangnick, chosen by Gazidis (therefore by Elliot) to lead a real revolution, so clear-cut as to be even frightening. His presence, albeit not yet official, has already blew up Boban and history will soon repeat itself with Maldini, closely followed by Pioli and, 99%, by Ibrahimovic. However, it remains to be understood what his role will be: certainly Technical Director, while it is not yet clear whether he will also sit on the bench. In fact, last season Rangnick gave way to Julian Nagelsmann, preferring to lead the Red Bull world (Leipzig, Salzburg, New York and Brazil) from his desk.

That's why, in the last few hours, someone thinks that history will repeat itself in Milan too, with the young (31 years old) but talented Nagelsmann following him in this adventure. The couple worked quite well in Leipzig, as evidenced by the third place in the Bundesliga (5 points behind leaders Bayern) and, above all, the qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the expense of Mourinho's Tottenham, eliminated at the end of two matches without history. Others, on the other hand, think that Rangnick, at least in the first year, will prefer to go it alone: the certainty however is that, barring further unforeseen events, he will be Milan's near future. A very difficult challenge awaits him, because he will face teams that have already been tested and are ready to exploit the market to strengthen themselves even more. This is the case of Inter, not at all afraid of the probable departure of Lautaro Martinez.

It is known that Toro already has a verbal agreement with Barcelona, as well as that the Nerazzurri have long since identified his replacements. The plural is a must given that Marotta, if the sale goes through (but Barça will have to go to at least 90 million plus a counterpart: we are talking about Vidal and Junior Firpo), would like to bring Timo Werner, Mertens and Cavani to Milan . The first two have long been in the crosshairs and the Belgian, in particular, is really one step away from signing: the Matador, on the other hand, is more of a suggestion, but his expiring contract with PSG makes him anything but unapproachable. In parallel with the strategies for the attack, we are moving in other directions and here, as always, Juventus comes into play. The clashes with the Lady are many and the Kulusevski affair (one step away from Inter and then finished in black and white), if possible, has even raised the temperature.

The first Italian derby is taking place on Tonali, even if Cellino, evidently attracted by the scent of the auction, has so far rejected both offers of 35 million. A further effort will be needed, after which the ball will pass to the player: he will have the last word on his future, just like Federico Chiesa, the other object of the dispute. A year ago Juve had reached an agreement on the basis of a five-year contract, but now, also thanks to the purchase of Kulusevski (who, it should be remembered, plays in the same position), seems to have slipped away, so much so that the move to offer Commisso money plus the cards from Romero and Mandragora smacks of spite towards his rivals. Inter, on the other hand, wants him at Conte's specific request, and aims to convince Fiorentina with Nainggolan or Gagliardini, both very welcome on the banks of the Arno. However, the Lady will first have to think about selling, because the previous one from last year (market blocked due to lack of sales) is still fresh.

The hottest cases are Higuain (here we go again!) and Rabiot, the latter in particular after recent events, which saw him as the protagonist of an attempted "strike". The Frenchman's malaise, who arrived in Turin 10 days late compared to his teammates, stems from a poorly digested salary cut, but the club is also far from satisfied with his performance, well below the 7,5 million mark of salary received. The feeling is that the farewell is convenient for both, especially as there are many admirers in the Premier League (above all Newcastle who have just been bought by a Saudi fund). Disposals also in sight at Napoli, where De Laurentiis started a a real revolution by Gattuso. The coach will lead a new course in which several protagonists of recent years will be missing such as Callejon, Mertens, Allan and, perhaps, Koulibaly.

On the other hand, the positions of Milik and Zielinski are different: the club is trying to keep them, as demonstrated by the negotiations for the renewal of the contracts. At the same time we are working on acquisitions, partly already finalized in January, and in this sense attention to Agustin Almendra, young (20 years old) and talented director of Boca Juniors, also sponsored by De Rossi. The Rome market is much more nebulous, blocked by the interruption of the negotiation between Pallotta and Friedkin. The non-transfer of ownership is a big problem, also because the club's accounts show consolidated financial debt of 278,5 million, 60 more than last year. Worrying scenario, which has forced the top management to convene a new shareholders' meeting on June 26th: reinforcements, at least for the moment, are therefore not a priority...

Lazio doesn't have these problems, who while waiting to understand whether or not he will be able to fight for the Scudetto is already moving towards the future. Lotito could sell one of his jewels (Milinkovic-Savic above all) only in the event of an indecent proposal, but in the meantime, thanks to Tare's usual mastery, he is working on various interesting prospects. In particular, they like Luis Suarez of Watford (this year on loan to Zaragoza), with whom an agreement has already been found for a five-year deal worth 1,5 million per season. Alternatively, there are Adolfo Gaich of San Lorenzo (21 years old), the son of art Ianis Hagi of Glasgow Rangers (21 years old) and Vedat Muriqi of Fenerbahce (26): all prospects little known to the general public, but ready to become great with the white shirt.
