Microsoft bets on artificial intelligence and buys Genee, an American company founded two years ago with the aim of optimizing the calendar and time of meetings and corporate events, through interaction with a virtual assistant based on advanced technology on algorithms that can handle groups of people.
The Genee operation, whose founders Ben Cheung and Charles Lee will work for Microsoft from now on, testifies that the Redmond giant is also betting on artificial intelligence, a world full of hopes on which Apple and Intel previously also focused moves with targeted acquisitions.
