Miart: new appointment from 17 to 19 September 2021

The international modern and contemporary art fair in Milan (Miart) organized by Fiera Milano and the first under the artistic direction of Nicola Ricciardi, initially scheduled for the traditional month of April, has been scheduled from the 17 to the 19 September 2021 (with preview on September 16th). After the 2020 online edition, which made it possible to keep gallery owners, collectors, professionals from the art world and the public in touch, miart has found the ideal window between the Salone del Mobile (5-10 September) and Milan Fashion Week (September 21-27) the right place. The decision stems from a careful assessment aimed at not compromising the attractiveness of miart which has always stood out for its international vocation. In fact, the new dates will allow the event to maintain this important and fundamental characteristic. The goal is to build a fair that is a solid and credible relaunch opportunity: a "physical" edition enriched and completed by a digital experience thanks to an online platform that will be able to offer innovative multimedia contents and new ways of communicate to further amplify the dialogue between modern and contemporary characteristic of miart. Like every year, miart will be the epicenter of Milan Art Week, a rich calendar of events and inaugurations, promoted with the City of Milan Culture, which brings together the major public institutions and private foundations of the city.
