Abundance of awards for the Generali Group at the XVIII edition of the Milano Finanza Insurance & Previdenza Awards 2019, by ClassEditori: in particular Marco Sesana, Country Manager & CEO of Generali Italia and Global Business Lines, was awarded Insurer of the Year, for "the strong change imprinted on the culture of the company, sowing seeds for the future through a series of initiatives linked to the world of innovation, training and the diffusion of the positive values ​​of insurance in society".

The quality of the Trieste Group was recognized with the Insurance & Previdenza Elite "for the incentive strategy for employees through an innovative We Share plan", launched internationally: Monica Possa, Group Chief HR & Organization Officer, collected the award.

A Lucia Sciacca, Communication and Social Responsibility Director of Generali Country Italia and Global Business Lines, went on Golden Lion for Communication for the "Ora di Futuro" project for having communicated with sensitivity, in an engaging and widespread way an education project dedicated to children which involved teachers, families, primary schools and non-profit networks throughout Italy. Ora di Futuro is a project by Generali Italia in collaboration with The Human safety Net.

At the 2019 Awards, Generali Italia, Alleanza Assicurazioni and Generali Welion stood out in the insurance panorama for the numerous MF Insurance Awards 2019 won in various categories, confirming the moment of transformation and innovation that is characterizing the companies of the Generali group in Italy.

Generali Italia is ranked 1st for “issues of size Groups by size (net assets)”; the award was collected by Massimo Monacelli, Chief Property & Casualty Officer. In the category “Protection from Cybercrime and Cybersecurity” Generali Italia has obtained the recognition for the Cyber ​​Lion product, to collect the prize Arianna Nardi, Marketing Manager of Generali Italia.

In the valuable companies category: Generali Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is ranked 1st in the Non-Life business: best companies for direct premiums 2018 (source Ania). Body branch, railway, air and sea vehicles; 1st place Transported goods branch; 1st classified Other damage to property class; Filippo Cinelli, Head of the Global Corporate & Commercial Italy Customer Relationship Management area, received the 1st place in the Aircraft and Marine Vehicle Liability Division.

Among the Triple A awards, Generali Italia is 1st classified in the category: “Separate management of life policies (gross yield) companies that have exceeded 5% yield” with the Liquidagevole product; received the award from Enrico Clemente, Head of the Insurance Technical Area.

Insurance Alliance obtained the Innovation Award in the category "Management of customer contact points" for Customer Experience, received the award from Marco Oddone, Marketing and Distribution Manager.

Finally, Generali Welion obtained the Innovation Award in the category “Protection of lifestyle and welfare” for the innovation of products and services. The award was collected by Marco Giovannini, Head of business development, sales, product and marketing.
