Summer is really over. Lucifer and the record of 48.8 degrees reached in Sicily are now a distant memory: in a few hours Southern Italy will also be hit by the vortex of polar air arriving from Scandinavia, which will affect all of Italy starting Friday and for the weekend . As usual, the dances begin in the North, with the return of rains e temporal even intense, and a significant drop in temperature with temperatures from the end of the season or even from the beginning of autumn. The perturbation will initially mainly concern Friuli VG, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, then it will move to the Adriatic side of the Center and there will also be the risk of storms and heavy hailstorms, especially in the Marche region. Southern Italy is still sheltered on Friday 27 August.
But over the weekend the situation worsens: the rains continue and temperatures drop further, especially in the north and centre. Under observation for storm phenomena different regions of the Center: the Lazio, Toscana,Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise. A fair amount of cloud begins also in the South, where the Scandinavian vortex will arrive on Sunday 29 August: rains e temporal will be distributed in a very irregular form compared to the Centre-North, alternating with partial lightening, all accompanied by a general return a temperature more fresheven in the south.
