The weekend weather is still merciless to the Italians, who will have to deal with rain and thunderstorms. According to the weather forecast made by the meteorological service of the Air Force, Saturday in the North the sky will be covered by many clouds, with rain initially on the border areas and gradually also on the foothills and on the plains. In the afternoon, thunderstorms in Lombardy, Triveneto and Emilia Romagna, while a gradual improvement is expected in the remaining regions.
In the Center and on Sardinia, the weather forecast for Saturday 11 May speaks of compact accumulations of clouds close to the Apennine hills and extensive haze over the rest of the Centre. In the evening, cloudiness should increase over the Tyrrhenian peninsular regions and Umbria, with showers and thunderstorms scattered over the northern and southern sectors of Tuscany, southern Umbria and central-northern Lazio.
In the South and on Sicily partly cloudy weather with transit of extensive veils. At the end of the day more consistent clouds will affect Campania, with some rain in the northern sector.
Temperature lows slightly increasing in the North, in Sardinia and in the central Adriatic regions; stationary or declining slightly elsewhere. Highs decreasing in the North and slightly increasing in the rest of Italy.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR SUNDAY 12 MAY
For Sunday 12 May, however, the Air Force weather forecasts speak of widespread clouds over the central-eastern regions of the North part, with showers on Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Adriatic sector of Veneto and Romagna. In the other northern regions, on the other hand, there will be some clear spells.
It will get worse in the Center and on Sardinia, where showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected, particularly intense especially in the Marche and Abruzzo.
Al South, overcast sky in all regions with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally intense in the morning in the Tyrrhenian sector and subsequently in the Adriatic one.
Sunday temperature minimums will drop again in the North and in Sardinia, while they will increase slightly in the rest of the peninsula. As for the maximums, however, they will be in sharp decline over most of the country.
