Another intense aftermath of bad weather on Wednesday 7 October, and then the climate throughout Italy will once again be mild and sunny. However, we still have to resist for a few hours and overcome another alert from the Civil Protection: the color is only yellow but rainfall will be abundant in at least 13 regions, especially in the centre but partly also in the North and South. In particular in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia and Basilicata there are also strong winds and possible storm surges along the exposed coasts of Tuscany and Lazio. A picture that is still critical and which adds to a period, in this first phase of autumn, of particularly rain over the whole peninsula and temperatures suddenly dropping after a still very hot first part of September.
But the good weather is about to return. Already in the day of Thursday 8 October there will be sun all over Italy, with temperatures still cool but slightly rising. Above all in the Centre-South, the maximum temperatures will once again exceed 20 degrees. High pressure will fully characterize Thursday and also Friday (but in the North there will already be the first cloud cover in the afternoon), while bad weather should return over the weekend: the first, intense rains in the North on Saturday, then the perturbation on Sunday will move towards the Center-South. There will be no significant repercussions on temperatures: in the North it could get cooler from Sunday, while in the South temperatures will remain mild, with peaks even around 25-26 degrees.
