Cold, rain and storms do not stop tormenting Italy. The weather forecast for this start of the week looks even more like autumn than spring, all over the country.
According to the weather forecast made by the Air Force, today – Monday May 20 - to the North part it will be mostly cloudy or overcast with locally scattered precipitation. Thunderstorms over Liguria and the central-eastern pre-Alpine belt, intensifying and extending to the remaining eastern regions and Lombardy. From the afternoon, there is a tendency for precipitation to decrease in Liguria, Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna, with partial lightening.
Al Centro, very cloudy over Sardinia, with showers and isolated thunderstorms which from the western side will extend to the whole region, with a tendency to attenuate during the afternoon starting from the southern sector. Partially cloudy over Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, with isolated showers that will intensify during the morning, also becoming thunderstorms. Gradual attenuation in the afternoon with phenomena that will only insist on southern Lazio. Partly cloudy in Marche and Abruzzo, with showers during the day, attenuating in the evening with extensive clearing up.
Very cloudy at South on the Tyrrhenian regions and on Sicily, with rains that will diminish on the island while they will intensify on the Tyrrhenian side, also becoming thunderstorms and insisting more until
at the end of the day on Campania and Tyrrhenian Basilicata. In the afternoon the phenomena will also extend to Molise, Puglia and Basilicata.
