At the end of an unusually mild and sunny month of October, the autumn weather arrives in Italy, especially in the North. Starting from Saturday and until Tuesday, with a possible small respite only in the afternoon/evening of Sunday, it will rain heavily in many northern regions, in particular Triveneto, the Alpine and pre-Alpine belts, Lombardy and Liguria. Less intense or even excluded the phenomena in Piedmont and, initially, in the central regions, which instead will be involved, but only on the Tyrrhenian side (Tuscany, Lazio, Campania, perhaps Calabria) starting from Monday. The most intense phenomena will occur in the night between Saturday and Sunday and in the first part of the day on Sunday: the Epson center reports the Lombard Pre-Alps and Western Liguria as areas of particular abundance of rainfall, but also the area of Genoa and the mountainous areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The entire Adriatic side, from Romagna to Puglia, is excluded, or at least affected by this perturbation, of Atlantic origin, while also on the rest of the South the phenomena will eventually be scarce and isolated. According to the Epson centre, the situation is improving somewhat everywhere only starting from Tuesday. Bad weather should only have a relatively small impact on temperatures, which will drop slightly but will remain substantially mild, indeed still above average in the Centre-South. Saturday the maximum will be in Milan 16, in Genoa 19, in Rome, Florence and Naples 24. In Bari it will even touch 26 degrees. On Sunday the mercury column will also drop a few degrees in the Centre, with Rome and Florence around 19-20 degrees. In the next few days the first snow will also arrive at not too high altitudes: in the Alps it will snow in some areas even at 700-800 meters, while in the Apennines around 1400 meters.
