Weather alert for Wednesday 3 November, when almost all of Italy will have to contend with a new disturbance brought by the Poppea cyclone, which began to cause damage in various areas of the country between Sunday night and Monday morning. After the break on Tuesday, therefore, the situation is destined to worsen again.

According to forecasts by the Air Force weather service, the sky will be very cloudy in the north, with even abundant rainfall in the northern areas of Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Friuli. Thunderstorms in Liguria. As for the Alps, from 1.500 meters you will begin to see snow again. Expected an evening improvement on Valle D'Aosta, western Piedmont and western Liguria.

Many clouds with scattered phenomena, including thunderstorms and strong intensity, over Sardinia and Tuscany, but above all over Lazio and Abruzzo, where rainfall will be more widespread and concentrated.

Irregular cloudiness over Calabria, but no rain. On the other peninsular regions, however, scattered showers and thunderstorms are arriving, more widespread and frequent in western Molise and Campania, where the phenomena will also take on an intense character.

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region, in fact, has issued a weather alert valid from 8 am tomorrow morning of 3 November until 8 am on Thursday 4 November. The alert will be orange in the following areas: Piana Campana, Naples, Islands, Vesuvian Area; Alto Volturno and Matese; Sorrento-Amalfi Peninsula, Monti di Sarno and Monti Picentini; Tusciano and Alto Sele. In the remaining areas of Campania, the alert will be yellow.

Finally, again according to the forecasts of the Air Force weather service, Wednesday there will be showers and thunderstorms in the morning also over a large part of Sicily, but improving from the afternoon, with ever increasing clearings.
