Siae: "unilateral and incomprehensible choice"

The company said it anyway willing to sign a new contract provided that there are transparent conditions for the correct use of the contents.
What will happen to the music of Instagram and Facebook?
Each content via social media (posts, reels and stories) it will no longer be able to contain the pieces protected by Siae. Content that is no longer available on Facebook will be blocked while on Instagram it will be muted. It remains possible to use other types of sound. In fact, the songs that are not part of the Siae repertoire will continue to be available in the Meta music library.
La Meta decision follows that of a few days ago by lay off 10 employees between Facebook and Instagram.
