Messi and Lukaku inflame the market and Dzeko goes to Inter

The day of the verdicts. Today, in fact, the transfers of Lukaku to Chelsea, Messi to PSG and, in all likelihood, Dzeko to Inter, will become official, unleashing the market in half of Europe. Yes, because the Nerazzurri certainly won't be able to stop at the Bosnian alone and even Roma, after losing their centre-forward, will have to move quite quickly, especially since the start of the championship is only 10 days away. Worldwide Messi's transfer is like no other, both in terms of the technical and the media aspects, but it is clear, however, that in Italy the lights are focused above all on Inter, guilty of having sold Lukaku after having done the same with Hakimi and losing Conte. Scenario that first of all infuriates the fans, who have been on a war footing against the owners for a few days: in the crosshairs, it should be pointed out, there are not Marotta and Ausilio, considered victims of a situation bigger than them, but the Zhang family, invited to several times, to put it mildly, to sell and disappear from circulation.

The anger of the Curva Nord does not spare even Lukaku, accused of "kneeling in front of the god of money despite having been welcomed and protected like a son": the ultras, after having daubed the mural dedicated to the Belgian under the San Siro, displayed a banner eloquent (“you have all broken ic …”), demonstrating a hot, indeed boiling climate, which will certainly not cool down with the arrival of Dzeko. However, the Bosnian will arrive anyway, probably already today, against an indemnity of 2 million which will prevent Roma from making a loss on the budget: he, long pursued in the recent past (Conte would have wanted him just as Lukaku's deputy), will instead sign a biennial of 5,5 million per season. The decisive acceleration took place yesterday, while the Belgian was carrying out medical checks for Chelsea at the Columbus clinic in Milan and took his leave of Inter announcing, along the lines of what Pastorello did, "a message in a few days".

Inter has therefore closed with Dzeko, although the announcement could be postponed until Roma have in turn found a replacement. The chosen one is Chelsea's Tammy Abraham, considered by Mourinho to be the best prospect to replace the Bosnian and team up with Shomurodov, but the Englishman, who would arrive on loan with an obligation to buy, is currently more tempted by Arsenal, another club on the his tracks. The alternatives (Azmoun from Zenit, Isak from Real Sociedad and Icardi from Psg) are however more difficult to reach, either due to the very high demands of the clubs, or due to outsized salaries. In short, Roma must find the right balance and only after doing so will they be able to formalize the transfer of Dzeko to Inter, which is in turn engaged in the hunt for another striker. Vlahovic would be the dream but it is almost impossible to take with the stakes imposed by Suning, which reduces the lot of suitors to Correa and Zapata. In the meantime, from England there is talk of an offer from Tottenham for Lautaro Martinez, but the rumor, at the moment, has been decisively denied both by the club and by the Argentine's agent.

However, today, as mentioned at the beginning, will also be Messi's day in Paris, to make a transfer as rapid as it is sensational. La Pulce is now from PSG, so much so that even his teammates speak of him as one of their own: this is the case with Donnarumma, who yesterday said he was "honored to be able to play with the strongest in the world". The tam tam was already giving him in the French capital yesterday, so much so that at one point hundreds of fans stormed Le Bourget airport to welcome him. The rumor turned out to be wrong, but it doesn't matter given that Messi will arrive today to sign the 40 million per season two-year deal, before introducing himself to his new audience under the Eiffel Tower. Going back to the home market, the next few days will be hot for Juve as well, determined to close by the end of the week both Locatelli and Pjanic.

There is no news on the Sassuolo midfielder compared to what has been said in recent days, on the Barça midfielder, however, the parties are very close, also because Sunday's friendly (which the Lady lost 3-0) reiterated how the Bosnian is now a body outside the club, willing to give him a two-year loan and even pay him part of his salary. Hectic days for Milan as well, determined to give Pioli a right-back and an attacking midfielder. Given the difficulties in recovering Dalot (he would return but Manchester United no longer wants to know about loans), Maldini veered decisively on Florenzi, returning to Rome after his loan to PSG. The negotiation is well underway, given that the Giallorossi are willing to loan him out with the right of redemption, provided however that it becomes an obligation under certain conditions: the parties are at work, it being understood that the player has already given his approval to the operation. As for the attacking midfielder, the name of Yacine Adli, a 21-year-old Frenchman from Bordeaux, reappeared yesterday.

Massara has presented an offer of 10 million, but the transalpines would like more: the deal is hot, even if Ilicic's candidacy remains alive, on which however there is still a gap with Atalanta on the overall evaluation. Other news of the day are Milenkovic's farewell to Fiorentina (he will go to West Ham), la break between Nandez and Cagliari (the player wants Inter and refused to participate in the friendly against Mallorca), Lazio's acceleration on Eintracht's Kostic and Salernitana's approach to Simy, close to a transfer to the grenade for 6 million euros.
