Merkel: "I expect a sustainable plan from Greece"

And German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, responding to Tsipras, said Germany will never pay war damages to Greece.

At tomorrow's Eurogroup on Greece “what Athens puts on the table will count. I expect a sustainable plan. We'll talk about it later." German Chancellor Angela Merkel said this during the joint press conference with US President Barack Obama to the White House, underlining that Germany's policy since 2010 has been "aimed at ensuring that Greece remains in the Eurozone".

Meanwhile, the German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, responding to what Greek neo-premier Alexis Tsipras said on Sundaysaid Germany would never pay war reparations to Greece: "The chances of that happening are zero," he said.
