Juve market, first shot: Schick is black and white

The 21-year-old Czech flew to Turin this morning for medical examinations – 30,5 million will go to Samp over three years – The Bianconeri continue their assault on Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa and N'Zonzi – Ballot between Darmian and De Sciglio to replace Dani Alves – French sirens for Cuadrado.

Juve market, first shot: Schick is black and white

The first shot of market of Juve è Patrik Schick. After facing (and defeating 3-1) Italy Under 21 with his Czech Republic, the striker born in 1996 from Sampdoria (the team with which he scored 13 goals and 5 assists last year) flew to Turin to undergo medical visits of the black and white club. The deal had been closed unofficially for some time now, but Schick's call-up to the Under-21 European Championship in Poland had slowed down procedures at Juve.

Once the formalities of the medical examinations have been completed, an official press release from Juve should arrive, but Schick's presentation in the black and white jersey will not take place today (we will probably have to wait until next week). On the other hand, the tweet posted by the official Juve account already has the flavor of being official.

As for the economic terms of the operation, Schick should move from Sampdoria to Juve for 30,5 million euros payable over 3 years. The Czech player's release clause was set at 25 million, but the Italian champions will pay 5 million more so as not to have to pay the full amount in a single solution. It is not excluded that some young players such as Romagna, Orsolini, Mandragora or Favilli may also be included in the deal.

Schick will sign a contract that will bind him to Juve outright, although initially an agreement was found for a loan with an obligation to buy. Later, Juve will decide whether to send him on loan for a season (Sampdoria, due to a clause, has the right of first refusal) Or keep it pink.

After this first hit, the revolution at Juventus will continue with the assault a Bernardeschi, for which 40 million plus bonuses would be ready to be paid into Fiorentina's coffers. The negotiation for the Viola playmaker is parallel to that with Bayern Munich for Douglas Costa, an operation destined to be "more concrete in the coming weeks", as CEO Beppe Marotta said yesterday.

In case both Bernardeschi and Souglas Costa arrive, he will probably leave Cuadrado, courted by PSG and valued at around 30 million by Juve. The other blue track beaten by the bianconeri leads to darmian, which contends with De Sciglio for the right lane freed by Dani Alves. Meanwhile, the negotiation for N'Zonzi, a Sevilla midfielder that the Andalusian club would have convinced themselves to sell for around 35 million.

However, it should be remembered that in April Juve had already concluded a purchase: Rodrigo Bentancur, the Uruguayan midfielder who arrived from Boca Juniors for 9,5 million euros (payable in two years), put under contract until 2022.
