An assignment accepted without reservation and a list of ministers already ready. The new Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wasted no time and, having concluded the conversation with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, she immediately released the list of ministers of the new Government.
Twenty-four in all, only six women. Many confirmations, including the appointment of Antonio Tajani and Matteo Salvini as deputy prime minister, but also some surprises starting from the ministry of relations with Parliament, attributed to the group leader of the Brothers of Italy in the Senate Luca Ciriani and not to the leader of Noi Moderati, Maurizio Lupi, as previously expected. On Justice Giorgia Meloni kept the bar straight, not giving in to the pressing requests of Silvio Berlusconi: The new minister is the former magistrate and new deputy Carlo Nordio. At the Ministry of Ecological Transition instead there is the senator of Forza Italia Gilberto Pichetto Fratin.
Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council will be Alfredo Mantovano.
