Here is the complete list

Meloni and Berlusconi start the thaw: "Joined the consultations"

After a meeting that lasted just over an hour Silvio Berlusconi left the headquarters of Fratelli d'Italia in via della Scrofa without saying a word. A few minutes later, the president of Forza Italia and the leader of Fdi, Giorgia Meloni, released a joint statement confirming the thaw after the turbulent departure of the new majority, but above all announcing the intention to show up united at the Quirinale for consultations in view of the creation of the new Government. In the following hours, important news also emerged on the ministries

Meloni and Berlusconi: "United with the Quirinale, we work for a strong and cohesive government"

"The meeting between Giorgia Meloni and Silvio Berlusconi took place in an atmosphere of unity of purpose and maximum cordiality and collaboration - reads the note - Fratelli d'Italia and Forza Italia will introduce themselves united, with the other forces of the coalition, in the forthcoming consultations with the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and are working to give Italy as soon as possible a strong, cohesive government and high-profile who immediately gets to work to deal with emergencies. Meloni and Berlusconi took stock of the most urgent economic dossiers, starting with expensive energy, an issue which, among other things, will be at the center of the next European Council”.

After the misunderstandings of recent days, culminating in the Forza Italia failed to vote for Ignazio La Russa at the election for the presidency of the Senate and in Berlusconi's "notes" in which he called Meloni "arrogant", the face-to-face between the two leaders seems to have served to obtain the result hoped for by the coalition: heal the rift between the two and remove the obstacles towards the emergence of a centre-right executive.

The possible agreement on ministries

However, the note does not refer to the main crux of the dispute, namely the distribution of ministries. According to rumors of theHandle circulated in the evening, during their afternoon meeting, Berlusconi and Meloni would have debated on the names of future ministers. Antonio Tajani he could be the new foreign minister and deputy premier, the latter role he would share with Matteo Salvini who would also cover the position of Minister of Infrastructure. Elisabetta Alberti Casellati could be the new Minister of Institutional Reforms, while Justice should go to Carlo Nordio, name dear to Giorgia Meloni. Berlusconi may have brought home another important ministry: that of Ecological Transition, which could be occupied by Gilberto Pichetto Fratin. The Public Administration and Universities could also go to Forza Italia. Three candidates for the two seats: Alessandro Cattaneo, Anna Maria Bernini and Sestino Giacomoni. Meloni would like the "technique" from the Ministry of Labor Maria Elvira Cauldron, number one of the Council of the Order of Labor Consultants.

The other names that have been around for days are those of: Giancarlo Giorgetti to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Matteo Piantedosi (prefect) at the Ministry of the Interior, Adolfo Urso (former president Copasir) to Defence, Guido Crosetto to economic development, Raffaele Fitto to European affairs. A ministry yet to be established should ultimately go to the Northern League Robert Calderoli.

Clash in the opposition. Calenda: "Pd and 5S want to share the vice-presidencies"

While peace seems to be returning to the centre-right, yet another controversy arises in the opposition. The main character is Carlo Calenda who writes on Twitter: “If Pd and M5s, as it seems, make an agreement to divide up all the vice-presidencies of the Chamber and Senate destined for the opposition, we will not participate in the vote. If this agreement materializes, the choice of the Democratic Party in terms of alliances will be evident".
He also spoke on the issue Matteo Renzi who, in addition to endorsing the words of the Action leader, threatened to involve the President of the Republic Mattarella in his e-news.
