Mediolanum: profit +70% in the first quarter

Total managed and administered assets rose to 69.744 million (+18% over the year) – Net inflows were positive for a total of 1.041 million (+21%).

Mediolanum: profit +70% in the first quarter

Mediolanum closes the first quarter with a consolidated net profit of 137,4 million, up 70% on an annual basis. Total managed and administered assets rose to 69.744 million (+18% year on year). The common equity tier 1 ratio was 18,5% as at 31 March 2015.

More specifically, with regard to Banca Mediolanum, net inflows were positive for a total of 1.041 million (+21%). Particular mention should be made of fundraising (which includes that achieved through Unit-Linked policies), which amounted to 1.192 million, +53% compared to the previous year. Loans to retail customers amounted to 5.605 million, up 18% compared to 31 March 2014. The ratio of net impaired loans to total loans was 0,7%.

As regards Banca Esperia, net profit was 4,8 million, substantially unchanged compared to the corresponding period of 2014.
