Mediolanum: Fininvest is not in the Pact, Doris has 40%

In recent months Bankitalia had asked the Berlusconi family to take a step back in the shareholding structure of Banca Mediolanum

The geography of Banca Mediolanum's shareholders' agreement changes with the exit of Fininvest which, in the previous agreement, had contributed 25,5% of the capital. The latter, in fact, held 51% of Banca Mediolanum and was equally divided between Fininvest (25,5%) and Fin.Prog.Italia Sapa of Ennio Doris & C. (25,5%), the holding company of the family Doris. In the new Agreement, published today, approximately 40,2% of the voting rights were conferred, i.e. all the shares held by the Doris family.

In recent months Bankitalia had asked the Berlusconi family to take a step back in the shareholding structure of Banca Mediolanum, where it has been present for some time with Doris. The Arcore holding company, Fininvest, which holds 30% of the capital, had been asked to sell 9,99% of Banca Mediolanum. However, not even this minimum quota has been added to the new pact.
