The drop in the share is linked to the news that the shareholder Fininvest has communicated that he will have to dispose of a substantial part of his stake, dropping from approximately 30% of the capital to 9,9% within thirty months.

The decision was taken as a result of the provisions of Bankitalia and Ivass, in the context of the procedure for registering with the banking groups and following the loss of the honourability requirements of Silvio Berlusconi, the indirect parent of the financial and insurance group.

In the note, Fininvest explains that voting rights are suspended on this excess share and that for this reason the effectiveness of the syndicate agreement with the other shareholder Ennio Doris, which according to the last budget meeting was 29,73% is no longer effective , with his wife Lina Tombolato at 6,75%.
