Mediolanum, Fininvest asks Bank of Italy for an extension

The Fininvest board of directors has mandated Pasquale Cannatelli to request the Bank of Italy to extend the deadline for setting up the envisaged trust in which to transfer the excess 9,9% stake in Mediolanum for a period of time compatible with the decision on the precautionary request made the day before yesterday by Silvio Berlusconi.

This is what can be read in a note at the end of the board meeting in via Paleocapa. At the same time, the Board of Directors resolved to establish the trust and appoint the trustee, Sirefid of Intesa Sanpaolo, and the guardian, Professor Marina Brogi. Fininvest's deadline to decide on the establishment of a trust in which to divert the stake in Mediolanum expires today. At the opening of the session, Mediolanum shares lost 1% in Piazza Affari, a 5,22 euro.
