Ferrero devalues again its 0,66% of Mediobanca where it participates in the shareholders' agreement. The confectionery group from Alba, as emerges from the financial statements closed on 31 August consulted by Radiocor, reduced the value of the share by 13 million, going from 42,06 to 29,05 million.
This is a decision "determined on the basis of the loss in value considered permanent compared to the original book value", reads a note from Ferrero Spa. "It should be noted - adds the company - that the market value of the equity investment in Mediobanca spa, as at 31 August 2012, is lower than the related book value at the same date by a further 7.748 thousand euro, for which it is assessed that there were no grounds for deeming the reduction equally durable”.
