Mediobanca Conference: 60 CEOs compared on the Italian company

The fourth edition of the Italian CEO Conference organized by Mediobanca is underway, scheduled for Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 June. Two days full of appointments in which, at the Piazzetta Cuccia headquarters, international investors and CEOs of the main listed Italian companies will meet.

In detail, 60 of the main companies present at Piazza Affari and more than 100 international investors will participate in the event. Representatives of international institutions will also participate in the conference, including the EBA and the European Parliament.

At the center of this fourth edition of the event organized by Piazzetta Cuccia, not only "sectoral" issues, but also the situation of corporate Italy and above all the economic-financial scenario of the country in a moment of political transition followed with great attention (and alarm) from the markets. It is no coincidence that Mediobanca analysts delivered a substantial report on the new Lega-M5s government to the participants, also containing the estimated figures for the implementation of the measures promised by the two parties and contained in the government contract. In detail, the Milanese bank estimates the price of the measures promised by Luigi Di Maio and Matteo Salvini at a total of 135 million in greater deficit.

As far as the program is concerned, 26 June will be a day dedicated to banks and insurance companies with the main CEOs of the Italian giants who will discuss the most topical issues concerning both sectors. The cycle of meetings will open with a welcome from the CEO of Mediobanca Alberto Nagel and will continue with a speech by Isabelle Vaillant (Head of the Regulation Department of the EBA). Stefano Del Punta (financial director of Intesa Sanpaolo), Philippe Donnet (CEO of the Generali Group) and Jean Pierre Mustier (number one of Unicredit) will intervene immediately afterwards.

Utilities and transport will be dedicated on 27 June with speeches by Francesco Venturini and Alberto De Paoli (CEO and CFO of Enel X, respectively). The day also includes a round table in which discussions will focus on the issue of managing the energy transition, in which Stefano Venier (CEO of Hera), Valerio Camerano (CEO of A2A), Massimiliano Bianco (CEO of Iren) and Gianfilippo Mancini (CEO of Sorgenia).

For the institutions, Roberto Gualtieri (President of the Commission for Economic and Monetary Affairs in the European Parliament) and Giovanni Castellucci (Atlantia's number one) will make a speech on Wednesday afternoon.

The conference, which has now become a fixed appointment on the agenda of institutional investors from all over the world, will be an opportunity to take stock of the situation of corporate Italy and the country's economic-financial scenario in a moment of political transition followed with great attention from the markets.
