Mediobanca, CheBanca! launches Managed Savings: target of 2 billion in 2016

CheBanca!, the retail bank of the Mediobanca group, launches Risparmio Gestito, with a net inflow target of 600 million euro in 2014 to reach a stock of 2 billion in 2016 – “It's a piece that fits perfectly into the plan presented in June”, said CEO Gian Luca Sichel – “There will be a single cost, that of management”.

Mediobanca adds another piece to the implementation of its business plan. CheBanca!, the group's retail bank, launches Risparmio Gestito, with a net inflow target of 600 million euro in 2014 to reach a stock of 2 billion in 2016. “It is a piece that fits perfectly into the plan presented in June, because it allows us to address two strategic pillars, that of expanding the range of CheBanca! products. and that of creating a cross-selling platform to maximize funding which is currently 14 billion euro”, underlined Gian Luca Sichel, CEO of CheBanca during a meeting with the press.

“The launch of asset management crowns an extremely positive year of great growth for CheBanca!. We have exceeded half a million customers, almost doubled the number of customers and reached one billion in administered crops,” added Sichel. Current accounts have currently exceeded the threshold of "150 and are heading towards 160". Risparmio Gestito debuts tomorrow, it will be available on the online channel, by telephone and in the 44 branches of CheBanca. To date, there is no intention of resorting to or forming a network of promoters, Sichel specified. The customer will have a selection of 1800 funds at his disposal, which he can freely access or be guided through the online tools provided or go to the branch. “There will be a single cost, that of management”, underlined the general manager of CheBanca!, Roberto Ferrari.
