Medium-sized enterprises, Mediobanca-Unioncamere survey: how many there are and how they are doing

How many medium-sized Italian industrial enterprises are there, where are they, how are they doing and how have they responded to the Great Crisis? The results of the traditional Mediobanca and Unioncamere survey on the financial statements of medium-sized manufacturing companies in the decade 2006-2015 will tell us, and will be presented on Wednesday 22 November in Milan in the Mediobanca Assembly Hall in via Filodrammatici.

The survey will concern medium-sized industrial enterprises that are Italian, independent and family controlled. Mediobanca and Unioncamere have the merit, with their Survey now in its sixteenth edition, of having revealed the reality of medium-sized enterprises which represent the most dynamic segment of the entire industrial system and which, together with medium-large enterprises, constitute the so-called Fourth Capitalism and the cream of Made in Italy.

In recent years, the survey has revealed that medium-sized enterprises grow more and produce more wealth than both the few large companies left in Italy and the small ones, but this time it will be interesting to understand how they reacted in the years of the Great Crisis and we will understand it on Wednesday.
