Doctors and dentists in revolt against the pre-compiled 730

Professionals rail against the obligation to send invoices for medical expenses electronically, above all because sanctions have now been introduced in the event of omitted, late or incorrect transmission to the Health Card System.

Doctors and dentists in revolt against the pre-compiled 730

Revolt of doctors against the obligation to send invoices for medical expenses electronically as part of the pre-compiled 730. The Fnomceo, the federation of medical orders, "learns with amazement - reads a note - of the introduction of sanctions, contrary to what was assured in the short term by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, for Doctors and Dentists in the event of omitted, late or incorrect transmission to the Health Card System of data relating to medical expenses. And he says enough to measures imposed after the fact, without consulting the Exponential Body of the Profession. For their part, the provincial Orders will play no role in issuing credentials to individual members".

The amazement at the provision, the doctors attack, "is all the greater if one considers that it was the Ministry of the Economy and Finance itself that convened the Fnomceo, to communicate, once decisions have already been taken, the obligation and methods of transmission, and to request the collaboration of the Federation for the sending in the appropriate format of the data of the members of the Registers and that of the provincial Orders for the issue of credentials to professionals. On this occasion, the Ministry itself ensured that there would be no sanctions”.

Against all this, “Fnomceo will not provide any data relating to the Rolls in the requested format: the Rolls are public and the Ministry can consult them directly on the Fnomceo website. In addition, the Orders will play no role in issuing credentials for the TS system."

According to the president of the Fnomceo, Roberta Chersevani, “one wonders if the Mef believes that the offices of doctors and dentists have an administrative apparatus capable of replacing that of the tax administration; whether doctors and dentists have to shoulder the burden themselves, in the face of costs that are already difficult to sustain, or whether this function should be delegated to external accountants, with even greater expenses. And it's not a purely economic question: if the professional has to take care of it personally, he will inevitably do so by taking time away from listening and caring for people. And this is not acceptable."
