Today is X time for Digital + e Mediaset. The chances of a relaunch by the Cologno Monzese group on Spanish pay-TV increase in extremis, even if the match is still uncertain.
In recent days the Biscione would have worked closely with Hurry, the first shareholder of Digital+, in order not to leave the pay-TV shareholding structure, maintaining a presence on a market considered strategic also in view of the next moves on Premium in Italy.
The scenario deemed most probable - according to some sources cited by the Radiocor agency - is that, by the deadline of the pre-emption set for today's midnight, Mediaset presents a formal offer to Prisa or equalizing the proposal Telefonica (725 million for 56%) or even exceeding it.
In the latter case, the same process started in May after Telefonica's proposal with the Spanish telecommunications group would reopen, which, in this case, would have the option of evaluating whether or not to exit from Digital+.
Meanwhile, this morning in Piazza Afari the Mediaset share dropped 0,8%, a 3,54 euro.
