Mediaset could become a stranger in the Endemol house. As reported by the Sunday Times, Alfa Romeo risks seeing its stake in the capital of the television production company reduced in a decisive way. The sensational reorganization would be caused by the restructuring of the monstrous debt that the company has contracted over the years, a redundancy of 2,2 billion euros.
Among the other shareholders of the company, which has become a legend in the world thanks to the "Big Brother" format, there are also Goldman Sachs and the Cyrte fund. The new masters could become the hedge funds, which will exchange the group's debt for shares. They therefore do not seem to have brought the desired results to the tempted ones joint venture with English ITV and contacts with US broadcasters CBS and Time Warner.
