Mediaset: profits and revenues are down, advertising sales are also down

Negative numbers for Mediaset in the first half of this year. In fact, net revenues reached 2.253,4 million euros, thus showing a decrease compared to 2.277 million in the first half of 8. On the other hand, revenues from Mediaset Premium Pay TV show an increase of 2,1%; this improvement is also due to the growth in active customers, which reached 14,9 million compared to 4,4 million as at 3,9 December 31. The results of these first six months are due, explains a Mediaset note, “to the difficult international economic situation . In this context, the Group nonetheless consolidated its advertising market shares, confirmed its best sales performance and maintained its audience leadership on the reference commercial targets”. At today's closing of Piazza Affari, Mediaset recorded a +2010%.
