Mediaset, Fininvest rises to 39,5% of the capital

Fininvest is further strengthened in Mediaset, rising to 39,5% of the capital and 41% in the voting rights. In a note, the holding company announced that it had purchased 20 ordinary shares of Mediaset, equal to 11% of the share capital, between 15.000.000 April and 1,27 May. Fininvest's stake in Mediaset – specifies the note – thus rises to 39,53% of the entire share capital and to 41,09% of the capital with voting rights (net of treasury shares, equal to 3,795%).
