Mattarella in China: export mission

Sergio Mattarella's journey to China begins today. The President of the Republic landed in Beijing today for a state visit that will last five days. The Head of State will meet the President of the People's Republic, Xi Jinping, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhang Dejiang, and Prime Minister Li Keqiang in the Chinese capital.

Later, Mattarella will also travel to Shanghai, Chongqing and Xi'an. In the various cities, the President of the Republic will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Graziano Delrio, and by the Undersecretary for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto.

Mattarella's visit coincides with the fourth edition of the Italy-China Business Forum (important agreements will be signed) and with a system mission to China in which a large delegation of Italian companies and institutions takes part.

In particular, the Business Forum will be an opportunity to launch the newly established internationalization and export hub of the Cassa depositi e prestiti group, formed by Sace and Simest.
