Graduating in medicine, a boundless passion for sweets and a creativity outside the box. Is called Marco Failla, the young food stylist and cake designer from Palermo most requested of the moment, both in Italy and abroad.

With his elegant and sophisticated creations of haute patisserie he has been able to make the weddings of many famous couples unique, such as those of Chiara Ferragni and Fedez, recreating the embroidery of the Dior dress worn by the fashion blogger on the wedding cake.

But the most social couple of the moment is not the only one to have turned to Marco Failla for their fairytale wedding, even the British singer Leona lewis has turned to the party chef of the moment, revisiting the classic version of the millefeuille.

Born in 1985, born in Palermo, now transplanted to Milan, since he was a child he developed a love for cooking, when he observed and helped his grandmothers with the preparations. From there he started cooking for family and friends, until one day, he prepared the wedding cake for a friend's wedding. And that's where the spark struck. After much study, apprenticeship and travels around the world, Marco Failla has found his way. His mission? Satisfy the customer, respecting his style, ensuring a "sweet" and unforgettable experience.

A revolutionary way of making and conceiving a dessert: study anatomy, in all its aspects, therefore perfume, structure, composition and consistency, emphasizing the link with his beloved Sicily, but revisiting old recipes with a touch of originality.

Each dessert is treated in detail, never ordinary, able to stimulate the five senses. He even draws drafts before proceeding with the realization, transporting the tasters into a world made of memories and emotions.

From the inimitable refinement and a delicate taste, with flavors and aromas of his native land, his creations are real pastry jewels, able to leave an indelible mark and trap all the essence of Bakery Boutique, its brand.

Great observer, his creations are composed of fresh, genuine and organic ingredients, without resorting to the use of industrial aromas, in which it manages to blend tradition and modernity, creating a perfect balance between taste and aesthetics.

During the last lockdown Marco created My Wonderland, a project aimed at enhancing the beauty of Italy, starting from its native land up to the North.

The journey draws inspiration from Alice's adventures in Wonderland, who like her goes "beyond the looking glass" to show the beauties of a land from all points of view. The young food stylist managed to find small local producers and gastronomic excellences, tasting typical products and letting himself be fascinated by the richness of the territory.

Like Alice, Marco too has a visionary spirit, deeply curious and outside the box. All documented through his Instagram profile, a live action in which the young cake designer recounted the stages of his fantastic journey full of encounters and discoveries, publishing posts, stories, photographs and videos.

With the collaboration of luxury, food and lifestyle brands, Marco has divided his journey into 3 chapters: DRINK ME, thanks to the natural ingredients collected along the way to create unique fragrances and aromas. EAT ME, in which the food&wine aspect is taken care of and, finally FIND ME, added his personal point of view as a spectator, actor and screenwriter of this incredible journey through the beauties of our country.

Decorating a cake has now become a real art recognized all over the world, in recent years also in Italy. A revolutionary world that has changed the face of sweets, increasingly linked to that of fashion. Marco Failla's success derives from his revolutionary vision of cake design, studying every little detail, the anatomy of his cakes, to create true evocative works of art. In the end, even the eye wants his part.
