Marchionne: "No integration of Ferrari with Fiat-Chrysler"

"There is not the slightest intention of integrating Ferrari into Fiat Chrysler, so as not to pollute it in a mass market automotive system". Furthermore, the Cavallino "was born and will die Italian". This was specified by the CEO of Fiat-Chrysler, Sergio Marchionne, during the press conference in Maranello for the farewell of Luca Cordero di Montezemolo to the company.

“It's an important day – said Montezemolo – because after 23 years that have passed very quickly, today I am resigning from Ferrari. I review them because objectively I believe that an era has ended, a very important cycle of the company and thanks to the results and the strength of Ferrari, another one is opening which I hope and hope will be even more important”.

As for Amedeo Felisa, "he will remain CEO of Ferrari", Montezemolo clarified again.

Meanwhile, the race for Fiat shares continues in Piazza Affari, which at the beginning of the afternoon continues to gain more than two percentage points, to 7,865 euros. According to analysts, the Ferrari brand is worth between 4 and 5 billion euros and for some the hypothesis of a maxi-luxury pole uniting the Cavallino, Maserati and Alfa is on the table.
