"I don't want to defend Renzi because he doesn't need my help, but he has done in 11 months what hasn't been done in whole years". This was stated by Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, on the sidelines of the third edition of the "Italy meets the United States of America" Summit underway in New York at the headquarters of the Bloomberg media group.
"2015, if we play it right, will be a great year," said the CEO of FCA. “After six or seven years of destroyed markets, of people who couldn't find work, 2015 will finally be the year in which the economic cycle starts again. You have to be very careful not to play it badly”, added the Italian-Canadian manager, who closed by excluding the repercussions of the Greece case on Italy: “When four years ago there was the problem of the sovereign debt crisis, we metabolized that too”.
