Marchionne and Confindustria: M5S doesn't scare us

No scaremongering about a possible government from the Movimento 5 Stelle – Marchionne: “We've been through worse, they don't scare me” – Boccia: “The important thing is that the country is guaranteed a government, but No to steps backwards on the Jobs Act and Industry 4.0".

Marchionne and Confindustria: M5S doesn't scare us

The 5 Stars are not scary, let's evaluate the measures, we are talking about democratic parties”. This was stated this morning by the president of Confindustria, Vincenzo Boccia, on the sidelines of the general assembly of Sistema Moda Italia. According to Boccia "the important thing is that a government is ensured for the country" is that "the measures that have had effects on the real economy should not be changed".

“We said it in Verona, we believe that some measures have had effects on the real economy in this historic moment. In particular – Boccia points out – the Jobs Act and the Industry 4.0 plan”. “Dismantling them – points out the number one of Confindustria – means slowing down. Instead we must accelerate if we want to reduce the gap and increase employment in the country. We need a precondition called growth”.

The CEO of FCA, Sergio Marchionne, also shares the same opinion, according to which Italy has seen worse: “Salvini and Di Maio I don't know them, they don't scare me. Fear of the M5S? We've been through worse.", said the Italian-Canadian manager during the press conference at the Geneva Motor Show.
