Maradona, the Court of Naples insists: the sixth appeal of the Pibe de Oro is rejected

Maradona is still guilty of tax evasion against the Italian state. The sixth sentence says so on the merits of the accusations against the pibe de oro and his various appeals, all rejected in court. The latest rejection sentence comes from the third section of the Tax Commission of the Court of Naples.

Maradona, the Court of Naples insists: the sixth appeal of the Pibe de Oro is rejected

Diego Armando Maradona sees yet another appeal rejected against the sentence that condemns him for tax evasion in Italy. The sixth rejection of the appeal by the former Napoli champion arrived today from the third section of the Tax Commission of the Court of Naples. The Regional Commission accepted the arguments of Equitalia and the Revenue Agency, declaring Maradona's procedural initiative aimed at obtaining the cancellation of his debt to the Italian State inadmissible.

The ex pibe de oro will be able to continue to use the handcuffs symbol – as he did some time ago in a broadcast from Fazio – being absolutely right. After the sentence of the Supreme Court of Cassation in 2005, which reaffirmed the irrelevance of the disputes relating to the failure to notify the assessment notices and the payment folder, today's sentence once again confirms Maradona's guilt of the alleged crime.
