Maneuver: ecobonus returns to 65% for boilers

Approved in the House a rule that raises the tax deduction but only for some types of more efficient boilers. The bonus for condominiums also rises

Maneuver: ecobonus returns to 65% for boilers

Change the maneuver and the eco-bonus for the boilers come back with a new look: at 65% and no longer at 50%.

With an amendment to the manoeuvre, approved by the House Budget Committee, the deduction returns to 65% for class A boilers with advanced valves, while it is fixed at 50% for simple class A boilers. From class B, however, there is no relief. The amendment by the Chamber after the text of the 2017 Budget Law was approved in the first reading by the Senate with important news for the entire ecobonus package.

The first signatory of the amendment, Antonio Misiani, explained that more than 15,7 million wall-mounted boilers are currently installed in Italy and 631 boilers are sold every year, a large part of which replace the existing ones for a cost of over 500 million euros.

According to Misiani, the novelty “can guarantee fair support for all winter air conditioning technologies that contribute to a process of sustainable decarbonization: heat pumps, latest generation condensing boilers, hybrid appliances; restrict the field of interventions that will be able to benefit from the incentive with the application only to devices that have technical standards well above the legal limits; contain the growth in the sales of open chamber boilers, therefore of the traditional type and with lower efficiency”.

Arriving also a bonus for condominiums, which is worth up to 85%. Another amendment approved, has meant that even one arrives single deduction between 80 and 85% for energy requalification works and reduction of the seismic risk carried out by the condominiums. For expenses relating to common parts of buildings in seismic areas, aimed at reducing seismic risk and also at energy redevelopment, the relief rises to 80% if the interventions determine the transition to a lower risk class or 85% if there are two less risk classes.
