Maneuver: shielded capitals, tax at 4 per thousand

Pensions and home, that's it government changes. Pensions: up to 1400 euros (three times the minimum) for next year will be revalued by 100%, while in 2013 the revaluations will concern pensions up to twice the minimum (935 euros). So is the amendment to the maneuver filed in the House Budget and Finance commissions. For the home, a 50 euro discount for each child up to 26 years of age, for the payment of the tax on the first home. However, he must habitually reside and reside in the real estate unit used as a main residence. The proposed amendment provides that the maximum amount of deduction cannot in any case exceed 400 euros.

But the government amendment also targets so-called "shielded" capital: in fact, a special annual stamp duty of 4 per thousand for shielded capital comes for them. For 2012 and 2013 the rate will be 10 per thousand. Taxes on real estate and financial assets held abroad by Italian citizens are also on the way. The tax on real estate is set at 0,76%, while on financial assets the rate is equal to 1 per thousand in 2011 and 2012 and 1,5 per thousand since 2013. Again: from next year the annual account statements of bank current accounts, postal accounts and savings books will be burdened with a tax of 34,20 euros, if the customer is a natural person. In other cases the tax is 100 euros.
