Green light from the Chamber to the trust placed by the government on the maneuver decree. There were 315 votes in favour, 142 against (five abstentions). The final vote of the assembly is scheduled for tomorrow morning, then the provision will pass to the examination of the Senate. The decree must be converted into law by 23 June.

Abstaining were four deputies from the Civic Choice - Ala (D'Agostino, Lainati, Vezzali and Zanetti) and Lacquaniti from the Misto group. None of the MDP deputies answered the call, as did the five from the UDC component of the Mixed group. Among the most important innovations approved is the controversial reintroduction of vouchers, but also VAT refunds, the farewell to coins and the Airbnb tax (Read all the news here).

Meanwhile, the clash over the electoral law flares up after the agreement between the major parliamentary forces for a new system on the German model, which, however, is little appreciated by smaller parties, due to the 5% threshold. The secretary of the Democratic Party Renzi did not send them to tell the Foreign Minister Alfano: “If after years of having been in government, you have been the minister of everything, you cannot take 5%, it is clear that we cannot block everything. And in any case, it is a good thing that small parties stay out”. Thus the former premier at Porta a Porta, on the accusations of the leader of the Ap Angelino Alfano. “Me impatient? – adds Renzi – I could have stayed at Palazzo Chigi and instead I left. I have the impression that they are the ones who are afraid but the veto of the 'little ones' is not acceptable”.
