After a summit that lasted over three hours and ended late at night, the parties adjourned without a definitive agreement. The chaos was unleashed by the proposal launched on Sunday afternoon by Renziano Marattin, who asked the cancellation of quota 100, defined as "the most unjust measure of the last 25 years, which spends huge resources on young workers". Words then relaunched also by Matteo Renzi and reiterated during the government summit by minister Teresa Bellanova.

Quota 100 was the flagship measure of the League last year, but the 5 Star Movement also supported the intervention, so today it cannot accept eliminating it with a clean slate. The grillini first responded with the Minister of Labor Catalfo, who ruled out changes, then they even threatened not to appear at the night meeting.

"I won't be the one to create new exodates”, said Luigi Di Maio, who actually did not go to Palazzo Chigi, but because today he has to attend the summit of European foreign ministers on Turkey's attack on the Kurds in Syria.

In addition to Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and Economy Minister Roberto Gualtieri, the night meeting was attended by the heads of delegation - Franceschini, Speranza, Bellanova - together with the deputy ministers Laura Castelli and Antonio Misiani, the undersecretaries Guerra and Marattin and the undersecretary for Presidency of the Fraccaro Council.

The scheme of the maneuver must be closed today and sent to the European Commission by tomorrow. The landing in Parliament it is expected within the 20 October. This is why the dispute over the 100 share has created various difficulties.

Not even a new increase is ruled out price of cigarettes.
