Bad weather, landslide risk in 5 Regions

Still thunderstorms throughout Italy and 5 regions with moderate alert for hydrogeological risk. These are the forecasts of the Civil Protection which has issued a new bulletin to warn Italians and tourists on holiday or in the city in this halfway point in mid-August.
It will rain in Tuscany, Lazio, Campania, the Tyrrhenian areas of Basilicata and Calabria, northern Puglia, Molise, southern Abruzzo, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Moderate rains are expected but also showers and thunderstorms, especially on the coastal sectors. In the other regions scattered rains, even with showers or thunderstorms; attenuating rainfall in the afternoon on the north-western regions and Sardinia.

MODERATE CRITICALITY DUE TO HYDROGEOLOGICAL RISK ON:

BASILICATA: Ofanto Basin, Agri-Sinni Basins;
CALABRIA: Ver. Tyrrhenian Set. Calabrian;
CAMPANIA: Sorrento – Amalfi Peninsula, Monti di Sarno, Monti Picentini, Lower Cilento, Piana Campana, Naples and Islands, Vesuvian Area, Piana del Sele, Upper Cilento, Tusciano, Upper Sele;
LATIUM: South Coastal Basins, Liri Basin;
MOLISE: Coastal road;
PUGLIA: Tavoliere, Gargano, Basso Fortore, Dauno Subappennino
