Bad weather Marche: Generali Country Italia launches extraordinary measures to support customers and agents

Generali Country Italia has activated a plan of initiatives to support customers and agents affected by the exceptional bad weather that affected the Marche region. Here's what it includes: 

  • For car covers: suspension of policies, cessation of risk in the event of destruction of the vehicle, extensions and deferments of premium payment;
  • For non-motor damage coverage: suspension of the payment of the premiums and of the guarantee, exceptional repayment of the installments of the insurance premiums paid and not used, extensions to 60 days of the terms of payment of the premiums; 
  • For life coverage: 3-month payment deferral without interest, policy reactivations up to 16 December 2022 without interest, split premium payments with zero interest, special loans, possibility of early termination of contracts without penalty with revaluation of the amount due up to the date of the request.  
  • On the subject of accounting, the debt collection companies will extend the payment terms by 60 days and the agencies of the municipalities concerned will be able to extend the terms of payment of the premiums by one week.
