After the last freeze, the bad weather grants a little respite but continues to cause inconvenience in Northern Italy. In Liguria, the Entella rivers in Chiavari (Genoa), Vara and Magra are at risk of overflowing after the rains on Sunday and Monday.

At the Ponte della Becca in the province of Pavia, the level of the Po it grew by more than a meter in 24 hours due to bad weather. In Emilia Romagna, the Enza river has overflowed in Lentigione (RE), making it necessary to evacuate about a thousand people from the town.

In Piemonte it no longer snows, but there are still inconveniences due to the ice. Temperatures below zero in Turin, where there are problems at Caselle airport.

A Venezia the high water exceeded one meter in height (102 cm). In Marche the main problem linked to the bad weather is the wind: the firefighters have intervened in dozens of cases to remove the plants and boulders that have fallen on the roads.

Instead, it seems that, despite the bad weather, the rail traffic throughout the national territory. The Italian railway network has announced that some lines have been reactivated in the North-West regions: "Rail traffic, after the circulation checks carried out by RFI technicians, will be able to gradually resume on the Turin-Modane line and on the Pontremolese (Parma -Spice). Throughout the night the continuous ice-scraping runs made it possible to keep the electric power systems of the trains efficient".

Traffic on some points of the railway network is still severely slowed down Liguria. In Piemonte reactivated the Turin-Bardonecchia-Modane line between Bussoleno and Bardonecchia.

Traffic on the Savona-San Giuseppe di Cairo line remains suspended, but the Genoa-Acqui Terme line has been reactivated. The Genoa-Milan and Genoa-Turin line via Mignanego is active between Genoa and Ronco and the replacement service with bus between Ronco Scrivia and Tortona remains active. The Genoa-Milan and Genoa-Turin via Busalla lines, on the other hand, are still suspended with the activation of replacement bus services.
