A new pole for the production of television dramas is born. In fact, the agreement was signed today between the Spanish director and producer Maite Bulgari, wife of Paolo Bulgari, and the Leone Film Group, with the aim of competing in the major international markets and becoming a reference player in the audiovisual industry.

Maite Bulgari has acquired 10,6% of the company founded by the king of spaghetti Western Sergio Leone in 1989 and now managed by his sons for an amount of 6 million euro. Starting today, you will serve as Vice President and member of the company's Board of Directors.

In particular, the agreement aims at the co-development and co-production of television content between Anthos, the production company of Maite Bulgari, and Leone Film Group, which will allow both entrepreneurial realities to develop and expand their role in the field of TV Fiction.

The collaboration between these two realities aims at the creation of a large-scale production pole, characterized by a greater quantity of economic resources and a more articulated structure, capable of launching high-value products on the market with a high marketing capacity, in Italy and abroad, in an era in which the television product meets a rapidly growing demand.

Among the most successful films produced or distributed by the company this year are the blockbusters “Perfect strangers” by Paolo Genovese, “La Pazza Gioia” by Paolo Virzì and “The Hateful Eight” by Quentin Tarantino.
